I composed and recorded this track while being inspired by what happened during World War II with an 8 year old boy. His father was arrested and put in a war camp. He and his mother escaped from the village where they lived while the Germans invaded. They hid in a fruit plantation, but his mother had forgotten something and went back to the village against all warnings. She never returned. Many years later, that boy, Isaac, returned to the village to find out what had happened to his mother. She appeared to have been arrested immediately by French collaborators when she re-entered the village and was deported.
Isaac wrote an award-winning book about this story, more info here: www.levendel.com/En/
